For elective ultrasounds, we do not require a referral; instead, we provide a short yet special experience. These scans are not diagnostic, which means they are used as a viewing for the family and bonding purposes only, with no medical opinion or advice given during or after the scan.

These do not replace medical scans that are ordered by your doctor, and these are not rebateable by Medicare.

From 8 weeks to 24 weeks

A baby bonding experience $100.00

What to expect:

10 to 15 minute experience.
Digital images of the scan
A flickering visual heart beat before 11 weeks, with an audio heartbeat available after 11 weeks.
x3 thermal 2D black and white images.
A short clip of the baby moving.

Gender is never 100% accurate on ultrasound alone. After 14 weeks, the technician may attempt to determine gender, but even then, we can never be 100% accurate.

From 24 weeks onwards

A baby bonding experience $100.00

What to expect:

All images are sent directly to your phone through the Tricefy app for you to keep and cherish.
10 to 15 minute experience.
Digital images of the scan
An audio of the heart beat.
x3 thermal 2D black and white images.
A short clip of the baby moving.
An attempt at 3D images - if the baby is in the right position, we will do our best to capture a few images that are in an orange hue and are a more realistic representation of the baby.
