Our diagnostic ultrasound services encompass a comprehensive range of examinations, providing high-quality imaging as requested by your GP, specialist or referring healthcare provider. We bulk bill all scans, except third trimester and morphology Monday to Friday.

All eligible referrals are medicare rebatable. Sigma Ultrasound requires a referral for our diagnostic medical imaging and we welcome all referrals.

Every examination is carefully reviewed by a specialist Radiologist, providing an additional level of clinical expertise and ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic imaging and patient care. 

We understand that finding a convenient ultrasound appointment on the Gold Coast is important. That is why Sigma Ultrasound offers flexible appointments, same-day ultrasound appointments and extended opening hours, making it easier to access the imaging you need when it suits you.

Most scans are 100% bulk billed with a valid Medicare referral.

Monday–Friday
All examinations are no cost to you.
Excludes Morphology & Third Trimester Ultrasounds.

Weekends
All scans are $149 with an applicable Medicare rebate returned to you.

Morphology & Third Trimester
$230 with an applicable Medicare rebate returned to you throughout the week and weekends.

• Gynaecology scans, including pelvic and endometriosis scans. 

• Obstetric scanning including dating, anatomy scans and third-trimester scanning.

• General scans, including abdomen and renal scans. We also do fibrosis scanning.

• Small parts, including breast, thyroid and neck ultrasound.

• Musculoskeletal, any forms, including shoulder and hip ultrasound.

• Vascular ultrasound, including carotid scanning, deep vein thrombosis.

• Urgent and priority scans.
